Our Electronics division have experience in both conventional through plated and surface mount PCB manufacturing. Utilising our MY12 Pick and Place machine we can position up to 21000 surface mount components an hour with a maximum board size of 35cm this enables us to have a consistent and even throughput with minimum device misplacement and loss. We use a 4 zone re-flow oven which is profiled to ensure that each PCB is heated to the optimum temperature ensuring that the solder flows correctly around each device without damage to the component or PCB.
Our conventional mount department have experience in placing a wide variety of devices on both single and double sided PCB’s utilising either temperature controlled hand soldering stations or the Blundell wave flow solder machine.
We also offer a full panel and module wiring service which has experience in marketplaces as diverse as Offshore Oil Power Supplies to UHV Vacuum control panels and Automated Motorway signage.
All of our electronic assemblies and panels pass through our fully equipped test and inspection department prior to despatch, whether it needs full function testing or just visual inspection we ensure that our quality is second to none.
The Precision Engineering division work with both CNC and manual machines and pride themselves on their quality and quick customer response. Having 7 CNC lathes gives us great flexibility enabling us to machine from the smallest spindle to large flanges of up to 300mm diameter. In our Vertical Machining Centres section we have the capability to machine up to 1000mm x 500mm and, with 7 VMC to chose from, we are sure to have the right machine to meet our customers’ requirements. Baytrees’ manual machining section have the experience and capability to produce bespoke items to Tool Makers standard whether it is in Stainless Steel, Steel, Brass, Copper, Aluminium or machinable Plastics and exotic material such as Hastelloy, Monel and Kovar etc.
Baytree Industries Sheet Metal department can cut, punch and fold pieces up to 3m in length and have a wealth of experience in box and panel manufacturing. They are used to working in a variety of materials such as Stainless Steel, Mild Steel or Aluminium. We can also offer the following finishes to your work: Natural Grained finish, by utilising our Grinding Master, Wet Sprayed with our in house spray booth, Powder Coated and all varieties of plated finishes as well.
The work horse of the department is our Amada turret head CNC punch which gives us the speed and accuracy we require to meet the most demanding requirements, combined with our 2 x 3mtr Brake Presses and YSD 3mtr Guillotine allows us to produce from the largest folded section to the smallest box.
